Role Summary
Reporting to the Global Head of Print Communications this role leadsexternalcommunications for HPs Core Print business spanning Office Consumer and Supplies.The role serves as a strategic communications partnerto senior business leaders and cross-functional teams shaping compelling narratives for media and industry analysts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute theexternalcommunications strategy for HPs Core Print businessesproviding clear guidance and recommendations on external positioning news opportunities and high-visibility business moments.
Shape proactivestorytelling thatbuilds awareness and third-party validation of HPs Print business identifying compelling stories across products customers innovation and industry trends.
Drive product and portfolio storytelling across hardware services and supplies including new product introductions platform updatesand ecosystem narratives connected to HPs broader business and innovation priorities.
Oversee media and analyst engagement strategy including proactive outreach briefings product reviews and industry narratives.Identify and manage emerging issues advising on external communications strategy and response.
Manage agency partners across planning execution and performance measurement.
Experience Recommended
8 years of external communications experiencewith demonstrated depth in product and portfolio communications ideally within technology or complex B2B/B2C environments
Strong news judgment and experience working directly with media and industry analysts
Strong executive presence and judgment with the ability to counsel senior leaders and influence across a highly matrixed organization
Experience navigating sensitive or high-visibility external communications issues
Ability to balance strategic counsel with hands-on execution withexperience across both in-house and agency environments strongly preferred

The pay range for this role is $130700 to $205200 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location job-related
knowledge skills and experience.
