Quality Assurance Inspector

North Charleston SC

$28.56/Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Verify routine product conformance to engineering drawings specifications and design requirements
  • Document and provide objective evidence of inspection results
  • Perform audits surveillance and process monitoring activities
  • Identify document and track product discrepancies and non-conformances
  • Segregate and control non-conforming material (NCM) to prevent unintended use
  • Conduct preliminary review and disposition of non-conforming conditions
  • Support and participate in customer product/process verification reviews
  • Identify repetitive or systemic quality issues and initiate corrective action requests (CARs)

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required (vocational training or Associate degree preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Assurance or other regulated industry
  • 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint)
  • Experience applying analytical and problem-solving skills in a production or quality environment
  • Work Requirements: Must be willing and able to work any assigned shift

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers digital micrometers optical micrometers depth gages thread gages go/no-go gages)
  • Experience navigating CMES (Common Manufacturing Execution System)
  • Experience working with REDARS and IVT systems
