As a Produce Department Manager you will oversee daily produce operations ensure high standards for freshness and presentation and drive sales through strong merchandising and inventory control. Main responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Produce Department with a focus on freshness quality and customer service

• Deliver knowledgeable friendly service and ensure associates demonstrate strong product knowledge

• Execute corporate merchandising programs planograms seasonal sets and promotional displays

• Maintain full fresh clean and visually appealing produce displays at all times

• Manage product rotation remove damaged or unsellable items and maintain freshness standards

• Order receive inspect and store product following food safety and rotation guidelines

• Manage shrink through inventory controls rootcause identification and wastereduction strategies

• Build and manage labor schedules aligned with business needs

• Train coach and develop produce associates while maintaining a positive team environment

• Ensure compliance with food safety sanitation safety and company operational standards

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• Ability to lead in a fastpaced highvolume environment

Competencies:

• Produce merchandising and freshness execution

• Inventory management ordering and shrink control

• Labor planning scheduling and associate supervision

• Food safety sanitation and compliance execution

Knowledge:

• Produce handling rotation and freshness standards

• Retail merchandising and promotional execution

• Store systems and inventory tools

Abilities:

• Ability to review sales shrink and inventory data to drive results

• Ability to train and develop associates

• Ability to lift move and stack product and work in coolers and refrigerated environments

• Travel requirements: None

• Other requirements: Flexible availability including weekends and holidays; reliable attendance; compliance with company policies food safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct
