Procurement Transformation Program Manager, Operations and AI

At its core Stripe is building the financial infrastructure for the internet and the Procurement Enablement team plays a critical role in powering that mission from within. We partner closely with internal systems teams finance and operational teams across Stripes global Procurement organization to diagnose inefficiency redesign how work gets done and build the systems and tools that make better processes stick. As part of Procurement Enablement youll work at the intersection of process design operational analytics and emerging technology identifying where friction exists mapping what great looks like and deploying AI-powered solutions as one of many tools to drive lasting operational change at scale.

As a Procurement Operations and Transformation PgM youll combine deep process thinking analytical rigor and hands-on technical capability to fundamentally improve how Stripes global procurement organization operates. Youll diagnose workflow inefficiencies design better operating models and build or deploy AI-powered tools that make those improvements permanent and scalable. Embedded directly within Procurement teams Strategic Sourcing Third Party Risk Contracting Procurement Operations etc. youll be equally comfortable whiteboarding a process map pulling and interpreting operational data and shipping an automation that removes manual work for good. Your measure of success is the number of workflows youve permanently transformed and the extent to which those in your global team start any task with an AI tool.

Identify and document the highest-leverage workflow transformations within your groups day-to-day work by understanding their processes and outputs

Build and maintain a structured backlog of workflow improvement opportunities using data and stakeholder input to sequence work effectively

Build and deploy AI-powered tools automations and intelligent workflows that eliminate manual effort and enhance procurement capabilities including autonomous agents data products and integrations with Stripes procurement tech stack

Work across Procurement Enablement and partner teams to uncover AI use cases document requirements and translate complex procurement workflows into scalable technical solutions

Coach and partner across Procurement through a progressive journey: from awareness to first win to regular AI integration to full workflow transformation to self-sufficiency

Develop operating models SOPs and process documentation that make improved ways of working repeatable and scalable

Teach Procurement SMEs not just to use AI tools but to design build and oversee their own automated workflows over time

5 years of professional experience in a role requiring critical thinking problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration including direct experience in procurement supply chain finance operations consulting or a related operational function

Demonstrated hands-on experience building AI-powered tools agents automations or workflows that transformed real work processes (not just using AI as a chatbot building with it)

Proficiency with AI development tools and platforms (e.g. Claude Claude Code Codex custom agent frameworks API integrations and workflow automation tools)

Track record of coaching teaching or enabling others formally or informally with evidence that people youve helped changed how they work

Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma process mapping etc.) or structured consulting frameworks

Experience with change management organizational transformation or large-scale enablement programs

Familiarity with Procurement technology stacks (e.g. Zip Ramp Oracle etc.)

Experience building and scaling internal tools templates or playbooks that were adopted beyond your immediate team

Background in consulting solutions engineering technical account management or other client-facing technical roles

Familiarity with the payments industry and fintech landscape
