Position Summary
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing materials negotiating with suppliers managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of components required for custom manufacturing projects. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production schedules and controlling project costs.
Responsibilities
Source materials components and services
Issue and manage purchase orders
Develop and maintain supplier relationships
Negotiate pricing and lead times
Monitor inventory levels and material requirements
Coordinate closely with warehouse operations engineering production and project management teams
Resolve supplier quality and delivery issues
Track procurement metrics and cost-saving initiatives
Support production planning and scheduling activities
Required Qualifications
3 years of purchasing or procurement experience
Manufacturing environment experience
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Experience working with vendors and suppliers
Proficiency with Google Suite & Monday or ability to learn quickly
