Procurement Specialist Bilingual Spanish

Position Summary

• Tactical and strategic purchase cost/value-add projections for existing and new products
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Marketing/Sales to develop and manage strategic supplier relationship
• Develop and drive End2End multi-channel sourcing strategy for R&D and strategic purchasing
• Systemize early stage business discussions for R&D and strategic purchasing
• Analyze/Report consumer electronics market trends and product infiltration strategy
• Cultivate strategic relationships with various North American organizations suited for discovering disruptive technology
• Orchestrate internal sourcing events for evaluation of potential suppliers
• Administer database utilization of potential suppliers
• Expand candidate company relationship management strategies for past current and future suppliers
• Identify sources of data for performance metrics enhance process to collect data and promote the collection efforts to outside organizations

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree with minimum 5 years of experience in related field.
• Solid understanding of technical concepts and functions
• Ability to interact and gain cooperation of various cross functional team members including Engineering Marketing and Product Planning Management
• Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.
• Proven track record of managing risk in coordination with project teams and experience in supply chain management strategies
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Life @ Samsung - @ Samsung - salary range for this role for candidates based in NYC/California is expected to be between $137500 and $170000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience and comparison to other employees in the role.
