This role is responsible for supporting procurement inventory management and maintenance planning activities to ensure safe efficient and reliable plant operations. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager the Procurement & Maintenance Planner coordinates maintenance scheduling budgeting contractor resources reliability initiatives and material availability while serving as a key liaison between Maintenance Operations Engineering Suppliers and position also supports maintenance operations engineering and capital projects through procurement and inventory management assists with outage planning spare parts management budget forecasting and contractor coordination and provides backup support to the Maintenance Manager and Commercial Manager as required. Participation in the On-Call Manager rotation is Role: Manages the procurement function at the plant. Processes requisitions and purchase orders for expense capital and inventory purchases. Actively participates in the RFP process researches and recommends replacement solutions for obsolete equipment reviews scopes of work evaluates supplier proposals and supports maintenance operations engineering and project teams with procurement activities. Supports maintenance planning by identifying long-lead-time materials ensuring material availability for planned work and coordinating supplier support during outages and shutdowns. Serves as SCOR leader for the plant. Maintains spare parts inventory and supports maintenance planning activities. Performs and reconciles annual inventory counts coordinates inventory additions and revisions identifies obsolete materials maintains inventory accuracy establishes inventory levels for critical equipment and supports preventive and predictive maintenance activities by ensuring materials are available for scheduled work. Assists the Maintenance Manager with maintenance planning scheduling shutdown preparation and reliability improvement monitors and forecasts maintenance budgets and resource requirements. Assists the Maintenance Manager in developing and monitoring annual maintenance budgets outage budgets and capital expenditures. Tracks expenditures prepares budget forecasts assists in prioritizing maintenance activities based on plant reliability needs coordinates contractor schedules and provides coverage for the Maintenance Manager during vacations illness and other absences. Assists the Commercial Manager with supplier qualification and contractor management activities. Supports supplier setup sustainability initiatives contractor prequalification and requalification service agreement administration contractor performance monitoring and coordination of contractor resources required for maintenance and capital projects. Provides coverage for the Commercial Manager during vacations illness and other Person: High School Diploma required; College Diploma or Diploma from a vocational institution in Business is 3-6 years of experience in industrial procurement material sourcing inventory control and spare parts management preferably supporting manufacturing collaborating with maintenance engineering operations contractors in an industrial with contractor management budgeting cost control and maintenance planning/scheduling is considered an asset.
