Procurement Clerk Treasure Island

    Provide training customer service and direction to locations that utilize the materials products or services. 
    Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and distributing materials equipment and           supplies.  
    Locate vendors of materials equipment or supplies and interview them to determine product availability             and terms of sales.  
    Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.   
    Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions policies and procedures.                   Maintain records of goods ordered and received. 
    Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.   
    Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers. 
    Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.
    Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills. 
    Maintains accountability of staff students and property. 
    Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility. 
    Fosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center ensuring it remains free from harassment               intimidation and disrespect thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and       learning. 
    Attends all required staff training opportunities.

Qualifications :

    Bachelors degree in business finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and                         experience 
   Minimum of three years of progressive work experience managing purchasing and procurement functions            from requisition through disbursement cycle including negotiating contracts.
