Summary:

Strykers Sustainability Solutions Advanced Operations team is seeking to hire a Process Technician to support new process and product introductions in Phoenix and Chandler AZ. This role provides hands-on technical support for manufacturing process development equipment installation and validation and documentation required to successfully launch and sustain production processes. The position partners closely with Engineering and Operations to troubleshoot issues support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality GMP GDP and safety requirements. A key focus of this role is supporting production readiness through process stabilization and training during new process implementations.

What you will do:

  • Provide hands-on technical support for the development implementation and sustainment of production and inspection processes to meet quality cost and efficiency objectives.
  • Develop evaluate and improve processing methods and controls recommending and coordinating implementation of changes to optimize safety quality cost and throughput.
  • Support new process and product introductions ensuring activities are executed and documented in compliance with Stryker new product development and validation procedures.
  • Monitor assigned operations to ensure compliance with approved methods material specifications GMP GDP and safety requirements.
  • Investigate work-in-process issues and process deviations perform technical evaluation and root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify sources of process waste and variability and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean and operational excellence principles.
  • Support Project and Process Engineers in the development of manufacturing and inspection process flows and in the execution of DOE DFM/DFI and DV build activities.
  • Execute equipment installation qualification and validation activities to support production readiness and compliance requirements.
  • Create update and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation including accountability for records in accordance with Stryker specifications.
  • Support engineering change control activities including ECO implementation and related production control documentation.
  • Provide clear timely communication of observations issues and results delivering status updates and technical input to engineering and management.
  • Work collaboratively in a team-based environment supporting continuous improvement efforts and a culture of integrity accountability and customer focus.
  • Support training and knowledge transfer for production floor team members ensuring personnel are prepared to safely and effectively execute new or updated processes during process launches and changes.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Requires 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing and regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lay out and set-up machines as well as product inoculation.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspect product with the use of all standard inspection tools.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully in a team-based environment that heavily emphasizes quality performance and accountability.

$24.54 - $33.68/hr plus bonus potential and benefits.
