Job Scope
The Reagent Preparationand Coating Scientistis responsible forthe preparation and processing of reagents and coated particles used in diagnostic manufacturing. This role supports production operations quality control and continuous improvement initiatives ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare reagents including System Liquid and QSET according to SOPs and batch records.
- Perform spiking dilution and filtration of reagents to meet product specifications.
- Execute particle coating proceduresto ensurequality and consistency.
- Utilize SAP for orderingmaterials and consumables processing returnsforinventorymaterials releasing work orders and kitting out materials for manufacturing use.
- Support validation builds for new productsand process changes.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the RP and Coating labs to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in cross-functional improvement teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
- Maintainaccuratedocumentation and ensure compliance with GMP ISO and internal quality standards.
- Collaborate with Quality R&D and Engineering teams to support tech transfer and troubleshooting activities.
Education Experience and Qualification
- Associates degree in Chemistry Biochemistry Biology or related field required
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biochemistry Biology or related field preferred
- Proficiencyin laboratory techniques including reagent preparation filtration and coating.
- Basic knowledge of general lab equipment ( rotator stir plate centrifuge; etc.)
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Physical and Work Requirements
- Ability to stand walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity for handling lab equipment and materials.
- May requirelifting upto50lbs.
- Laboratory and cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Use of PPErequired(lab coat gloves safety glasses etc.).
- Exposuretochemicals and biological materials.
What we offer
The salary range for this position is $ $61000 - $70000 Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including but not limited to educations skills work experience certifications etc. Beyond base salary Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
