As a Process Engineering Technician I youll provide immediate technical support to manufacturing and clarify production process specification requirements to ensure accurate and efficient production.
SHIFT: 3rd shift 4x10 (Mon-Thurs 9pm to 7:30am)
A typical day as a Process Engineering Technician I might include:
- Assisting in measuring and improving yield efficiency and capacity of manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Documenting modifying and maintaining manufacturing related procedures.
- Managing the procurement of assembly process tools.
- Training operators and support staff as needed.
- Learning and applying SEL Values Principles of Operation and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
This job might be for you if:
- You have a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing equipment relevant to the role
- You have basic computer skills including familiarity with windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g. Excel Word SQL)
- You have strong writing documentation and speaking skills.
- You can learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
- You can work cooperatively in a team environment.
It is a plus if you have:
- Experience troubleshooting process and machinery problems.
- Experience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments.
- Experience programming and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Experience preparing materials cross-sections for microscopic analysis.
- Working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics.

Pay Range: $35.38 - $51.10 per hour (plus 3rd shift differential: $10.00/hr)
We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience training knowledge and skills. We are looking to fill this position at a level 1 and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background we may consider you for a different level with compensation aligned accordingly.
Level I: $35.38 $51.10 per hour
Level II: $38.33 $55.44 per hour
