Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Process Engineering Intern located in Coopersville MI.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager the Process Engineering Intern will be responsible to solve complex problems and generate new ideas for a global organization; while utilizing creativity and innovation to develop entrepreneurial skills. Involved on projects which matter to the business and help achieve company goals. Work on challenging projects in support of real-time business issues to develop skills and experiences.
What a typical day looks like:
- Assist with manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production labor and material costs; reviewing production schedules.
- Prepares product and process reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
- Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Interface with hardware power and other peers to understand system architecture and design constraints.
- Create mechanical design concepts for various products and clients using mechanical tools.
- Assist with the design mechanisms improve installation and serviceability.
- Assist with testing and execution experiments for mechanical system optimization.
- Work with the team to build and test prototypes.
- Diagnose and make recommendation on prototypes assembly or design failures.

Internship Program Requirements:
- Currently enrolled and pursuing degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited university
- Available for on-site assignment 10-12 weeks
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
