Process Engineer Plastic Injection Molding

International company a leader in manufacturing injection molded or extruded plastic parts needs a technician to keep the machines running and to ensure high quality production and employee safety.

The company provides a competitive hourly wage and great benefits including 401K Relocation assistance may be available for people with the right set of skills.

The positions to be filled are from 3 pm to 11 pm or from 11 pm to 7 am.

You are expected to have worked in injection molding and/or extruded plastics before and be familiar with typical machines molds and material problems especially as they apply to making parts used in automotive applications.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing response to all machine thermolater robot and other problems
• Reporting to Production Supervisor about problems on the production floor
• Overseeing Die changes
• Ensuring machines are running smoothly
• Following all safety regulations and company policies
• Participating in continuous improvement activities to save money improve quality.

Qualifications :

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least two or three years of experience as a technician in plastics injection molding.
• Must be in-depth knowledge about injection molding processes.
• Must have familiarity with mold set-ups and troubleshooting
• Should have some experience with robotics and computer controls
