Process Assistant, Grocery Fulfillment Centers

We are looking for motivated customer-focused individuals who want to join our team as a Process Assistant.

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements:
- Support mentor and motivate others
- Manage safety quality productivity and customer delivery promises
- Collaborate with all support teams including Safety Ops Integration Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
For this role you will need to be:
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
- Able to work 40 hours/week and overtime as required
- Able to lift 49 pounds stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours and frequently push pull squat bend and reach as well as continuously climb and descend stairs
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments and grocery locations include refrigerated environments)

Grocery Fulfillment Centers are facilities that house Amazons selection of fresh food and other specialty products. These multi-temperature facilities support our same-day delivery service. At our fulfillment centers youll focus on safety in all stocking and sorting tasks while helping to develop best practices. - High school or equivalent
- 1 years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- Can lift up to 49 pounds stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours and frequently push pull squat bend and reach
- Work 40 hours/week and overtime as required

- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques
- 1 years of experience directly managing others experience
- Can show strong verbal and written communication skills
- 1 year working in a like environment (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/retail)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to coach train and assist team members.

The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
