Camp Bullfrog Lake located in Willow Springs IL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Pro Shop/Groundsmen! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitors implements and adheres to all company goals policies procedures and controls
- Assists golf professionals with checking in golfers and maintaining a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play
- Assists with receiving merchandise and adheres to purchase order procedures
- Assists with the rotation of shop displays
- Maintains an organized stockroom and assists the buyer and other shop assistants with inventory and golf shop cleanliness
- Assists with pricing merchandise
- Assists with maintaining proper inventory counts and levels
- Provides service in every way possible going the extra mile to meet guest expectations
- Performs other duties as requested by the Head Professional
Education/Experience/Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to fluently speak and write English
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height
- Frequent bending turning kneeling and stooping
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Repetitive motion required including computer entry
- Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner
- Normal vision and hearing required
