PRN Spanish Interpreter, PRN, Day

Essential Functions

• All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Healths purpose:Inspire with the difference.

• Interprets spoken passages from one language into consecutive interpreting listens to complete statements in one language interprets to second and interprets responses from second into first language. Expresses either approximate or exact interpretation. May receive briefing on subject to be discussed prior to interpreting session.

• Responds to all customers sets priorities gives reports and maintains confidentiality. Provides information education and technical assistance for customers in order to help facilitate effective use of language services and its equipment.

• Maintains positive working relations with all customers and peers including verbalizing complaints or concerns through appropriate channels and accepting assignment changes or constructive criticism.

• Works to improve as a professional through attendance at staff meetings mandatory training and compliance with rules and expectations of the department. Participates in self-development programs and directed programs for quality control while maintaining competencies.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor manager director or executive.
