Job Summary
Astera Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)with a passion to be part of the Inpatient Nursing (Med/Surg) team. Inpatient Nursing Assistants are primarily responsible for providing direct patient care on the Med/Surg floor in coalition with the Registered Nurses and Providers and are considered vital in our workflow processes as they directly care for our patients.
This position is for a PRN/casual status in the inpatient unit.
Some responsibilities of the Inpatient Nursing Assistant include but are not limited to the following:
- Observing and reporting patient data
- Performing patient care and assistance
- Ensuring applicable patient and family needs are met
- Taking patient records
- Maintaining patient care supplies
Education and experience required:
- Nurses Aide Technical Training or Certification -preferred
- Maintain active BLS certification
Pay or shift range:$19.70 USDto$29.54 USD
