A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Private Equity M&A Associate Attorneyto join its growing Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated private equity and M&A transactions within a collaborative technology-enabled national platform serving financial sponsors portfolio companies founders and investors.

The firm is seeking a motivated mid-level associate with strong private equity and mergers & acquisitions experience who is interested in handling complex transactions across a broad range of industries including innovative and evolving healthcare services platforms.

The Role

Associates in this position may work on matters involving:

  • Private equity acquisitions and exits
  • Mergers & acquisitions transactions
  • Sponsor-side and portfolio company representation
  • Joint ventures and strategic partnerships
  • Healthcare services transactions
  • Post-acute care and professional practice transactions
  • Digital health and innovative healthcare business models
  • General corporate and transactional matters related to private equity investments

Attorneys will work closely with sophisticated private equity sponsors investors founders and management teams on high-value and strategically significant transactions.

Ideal Background
  • 34 years of private equity and M&A experience
  • Experience gained at an AmLaw 100 or AmLaw 200 firm strongly preferred
  • Experience representing sponsors portfolio companies founders or investors in sophisticated transactions
  • Exposure to healthcare services transactions is strongly preferred
  • Strong drafting negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage transactions independently while working collaboratively within a team
  • Interest in innovative transaction structures legal technology and AI-enabled deal processes is a plus
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Active Texas Bar admission required or ability to waive in
