A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Private Business Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing privately held businesses family-owned companies entrepreneurs private equity sponsors and business owners in sophisticated corporate and transactional matters.

36 years of corporate transactional business or M&A experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

Experience representing privately held companies closely held businesses family-owned businesses founders entrepreneurs private equity sponsors and institutional investors

Experience handling mergers & acquisitions business formations ownership transitions corporate reorganizations equity financings and strategic transactions

Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements operating agreements shareholder agreements partnership agreements buy-sell agreements and other corporate governance documents

Experience advising clients regarding corporate governance succession planning business operations commercial contracts and general corporate matters

Experience managing sophisticated transactions from due diligence through closing

Strong drafting negotiation analytical organizational and communication skills

Ability to independently manage client matters while maintaining significant client interaction

Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Minnesota bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Nationally recognized Corporate & Private Business practice

Sophisticated transactional and business advisory work
