Printing Press Setup Technician 3rd Shift Contract Position

This role involves the manual setup and operation of multi-color sheet fed and high-speed continuous/web presses. As a Printing Press Setup Technician you will ensure accurate press configurations maintain equipment and deliver high-quality printed products during the third shift.

Job Details

• LOCATION: Townsend MA 01469
• POSITION: Contract
• SCHEDULE: Third shift - Sunday to Thursday / 11pm-7am (Train on 1 st shift)
• PAY RATE: $22.00 hour

Responsibilities

• Complete press setups including stock identification paper path adjustment plate mounting and ink mixing.
• Ensure die registration and multi-color accuracy with proper ink and water balance adjustments.
• Operate presses according to order instructions to meet quality standards for ink density color matching and product attributes.
• Conduct daily weekly and monthly preventative maintenance to uphold product quality.
• Use press controls effectively and troubleshoot mechanical issues including blanket changes and cleaning tasks.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or printing.
• Familiarity with printing processes and equipment usage.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment

• Contract position on third shift: Sunday to Thursday 11pm to 7am.
• Initial training on first shift.
