Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in Environmental Civil or Chemical Engineering or other related engineering or science discipline
- At least 15 years of combined experience in consulting and detail design process engineering business development and project management of water and wastewater management for industrial clients.
- Understanding of business principles for selling and delivering consulting and design projects and related project delivery tools and metrics.
- Experience managing proposals through commercial closure.
- Abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork and coordination.
- High level of self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Were looking for a Principal Technical Consultant Water Engineer to join our Worley Consulting US Water team.
Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years experience in industrial process water / wastewater treatment a high degree of computer literacy good time management and priority setting skills; flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Looking for seller/doers in traditional markets such as refining and chemicals upstream power and mining.
- Contribute to project teams by providing subject matter expertise focusing on industrial water/wastewater treatment.
- Roles may include project management or technical lead roles for treatability studies pilot studies water/ wastewater sampling and analysis wastewater treatment alternatives evaluation regulatory permitting and pollution prevention evaluations.
- Lead and or contribute to developing new business opportunities from conceptual phase work through EPC. Experience developing concession design build operate design build finance operate is a plus.
- Endeavor to understand the customers need and how the project relates to other elements of the clients organization and to other projects.
- Have excellent organization skills and are able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and under deadline pressure.
