Role

We are looking for a Principal Specialist Sales Engineer to join our East team. This is a remote role reporting to the Director of Specialists Solutions Architects in the Zero Trust Branch department. The Speciality Sales team is a global group of professionals who are passionate about delighting our customers nurturing trusted partnerships and sharing their expertise to drive a secure cloud-enabled digital future and further cement our position as the world leader in cloud security. Sales Customer Success Sales Enablement Solution Architects Business Development Transformation and Technology Partnerships all work together to demonstrate the power and agility of Zscaler cloud transformation to the world and we are looking for your expertise to elevate our Exposure Management team.

What youll do (Role Expectations)

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions will meet customer goals and needs
• Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations
• Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes

What Were Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
• Bachelors Degree in Technology a related field or equivalent professional experience
• 10 years of experience in Sales Engineering Solutions Consulting or Solutions Architect
• Proven experience selling network security technologies (SD-WAN routing protocols SWG routing proxies firewalls SSL/IPsec VPNs DLP and end-user monitoring)

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Industry standard certifications such as CISSP CCNA Network CCNP CCIE or Security
• Deep understanding of complex multi-year sales cycles and expertise in value-based storytelling
