Principal Software Engineer, Amazon SageMaker

The Analytics Experience group provides integrated tools for customers leveraging data analytics and AI services. The group is at the forefront of innovation in these areas producing services like Amazon SageMaker an end-to-end platform for builders and analytics to ingest transform analyze and govern data and to build dashboards knowledge bases and agents.


Key job responsibilities
* Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture design and extensible code
* Be an advocate of industry best-practices to produce reliable fault-tolerant and dependable code
* Code and test complex system modules; develop and leverage frameworks to be effective and efficient
* Participate in architecture design and code reviews to maintain our high development standards
* Own system architecture scalability reliability and performance
* Collaborate and influence other teams to deliver and operate large scale distributed services in the cloud
* Mentor other engineers defining our challenging technical culture and helping to build a fast-growing team

10 years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects

Experience in analytics data engineering or business intelligence at scale.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
