Job Summary
Product Managers within our organization sit at the intersection of software development design and business strategy. We shape high-level product goals but also get our hands dirty. On an average day you might pitch a concept to senior leadership create a launch plan with marketing work with designers and researchers to conduct user interviews or concept tests conceptualize a new feature analyze usage data and/or contribute to the overall company strategy. We have ultimate responsibility for understanding our client needs influencing business strategy prioritize product features and collaborating with engineering to develop our products.
Define drive and socialize the product vision strategy and roadmap for Claris development tools. nExpertly collaborate influence and lead cross-functional teams including engineering design marketing and customer success to ensure successful product delivery and direct impact to adoption and market research competitive analysis and user feedback to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities. nDevelop detailed product requirements user stories and acceptance criteria to inspire guide and direct other PMs the engineering team and the broader organizationnPrioritize proactively advocate for and drive across the organization product decisions based on business value customer impact and technical feasibility. nAdvocate for the needs and preferences of our users ensuring that our products are intuitive powerful and delightful to use. nMonitor Influence and impact key product metrics analyze performance and iterate on the product to achieve business goals.
10 years of experience in driving the development of products as a product manager or product leader with a strong focus on rapid application development platforms and related technologiesn8 years managing a backlog in JIRA in Scrum specifically as a product manager.n3 Experience functioning as a lead PM (providing key direction to other PMs) on major initiativesnBachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Business or a related fieldnExperience writing evaluations for LLM models to ensure AI workflow performancenExperience creating externally facing/revenue generating products that involve AI workflows with associated model metricsn2 years of 0-1 external product launches with Scrum SDLC with proven revenue target attainment.n3 years of experience as product manager launching technical features and products in the developer experience and productivity domain (not internal efficiency but revenue generating products)nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and -motivated proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic to conceptualize and drive complex projects with competing priorities multiple stakeholders and quick timelines
MBA or advanced degree is a plus as is a technical backgroundnProven track record of successfully managing and launching complex software ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas through written and/or verbal communication to internal stakeholders partners and analytical problem-solving and decision-making experience in leading design feature breakdown and projects/products from inception to shipped softwarenExperience leading teams of product managers to drive measurable impact either through influence mentorship or a direct reporting for technology and a deep understanding of the software development experience with shipping software incrementally following agile practices with Scrum being preferrednIn-depth knowledge of the FileMaker platform and its ecosystem
