Role Summary
We are seeking a Principal PCB & Substrate Layout Engineer to lead the design and development of complex printed circuit board (PCB) and substrate layouts for advanced electronic products. This role involves collaborating with hardware signal integrity mechanical and manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality manufacturable designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and review complex PCB and substrate layouts for electronic systems.
• Lead layout planning component placement and routing activities.
• Ensure designs meet electrical mechanical thermal and manufacturing requirements.
• Work closely with hardware engineers to optimize performance and reliability.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Support prototype builds testing and design improvements.
• Maintain layout documentation and design standards.
• Drive best practices for PCB and substrate design processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience in PCB and substrate layout design.
• Proficiency with industry-standard PCB CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of high-speed design signal integrity power integrity and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with design rules stack-up development and fabrication requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced packaging technologies and high-density interconnect (HDI) designs.
• Knowledge of simulation and analysis tools.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical projects.
