Job Summary

Job Title: Principal OCI Cloud Architect

Location: 2 Broadway New York NY 10004

Client: Metropolitan Transportation Authority

Duration: 12 Months

Note: This position requires the consultant to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Position Overview:

This role focuses on designing cloud architectures primarily for Oracle Cloud along with AWS Azure frameworks governance models and cloud standards for the organization.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable secure multi/hybridcloud architectures.
This role may require guiding engineering teams or supplementing their skill sets.
A strong foundation in onpremises infrastructure is essential due to hybrid integrations and migration initiatives.
The organization is also planning to expand InfrastructureasCode capabilities.

Extensive experience with cloud servers and environments with configuration patching network and VLAN configuration backups system monitoring and alerts.

A current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification (Architect Professional or Architect Associate) is strongly preferred.

Required Education:

Bachelors degree in information systems Computer Science or equivalent experience
