Principal Linux System Administrator based in Tewksbury MAinternally known as PrincipalAnalyst infrastructureWorkplaceServicescollaboratewith manyteams tosupportexciting critical programs with classified information system this role means you are able todevelop implement and maintain secure cost-efficientenvironmentsacross various classified programs. Program teams rely on yourcollaborationand guidance to define computing requirements andcreateend-to-endsolutionstosolvecomplexIT infrastructure problems.

What You Will Do:

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Redhat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows.

• Experience with Linux fundamentals and Windows Server internals to include Ansible DNS DHCP LDAP AD and server replication methods.

• Working as a team member in troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).

• Experience with data RAID data backup uses and technologies. Install and configure software applications requested by end users.

• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.

• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.

• Must be able todevelopsolutionsand documentation to solve a variety of technical problems.

• Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.

• Travelis requiredto other US Domestic locations as businessneedsdictate up to 10% travel.

• Full time 100% Onsite position.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Start date will be issued when interim clearance is obtained.

• Must have Linux experience.

• Experience in one of the following: LDAP ActiveDirectory VMware MySQL networking administration experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• VMware highly desired.

• AnactiveDoD Secret clearance.

• Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).

• Experience with NISPOM JAFAN JSIG DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.

• Experience with data storage NAS and SAN technologies andsolutions.

• Experience with using Information Technology project lifecyclemanagementprocesses.

• Experience using VMWare vCenter vSphere and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.

• Experiencesupportingengineers in software simulations and hardware development.

• Experience with Microsoft WSUS MECM and/or Exchange

• High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linuxenvironment.

• Scripting Experience.

The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
