This is a remote U.S.-based role requiring residence within the assigned region. The position supports clinical research activities across multiple study sites and healthcare settings through a combination of in-person and virtual engagement. Travel is expected approximately 70% to 75% of the time including air and ground travel with occasional work across multiple U.S. time zones.

This field-based clinical research support role serves as a key technical and clinical resource for investigational and commercial Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health therapies. The position works directly with physicians investigators research coordinators patients and internal partners to support clinical study execution device-related procedures programming activities protocol adherence patient follow-up and technical issue resolution. The role also contributes field insights that help improve study design training strategies patient experience and future product development activities.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide field-based technical procedural and clinical support for Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health clinical studies including implant procedures device programming follow-up visits troubleshooting and study-related patient support.
Partner with physicians investigators research coordinators and site personnel to support protocol compliance enrollment activities patient follow-up and high-quality data collection throughout the study lifecycle.
Serve as a technical resource across Clinical Research Engineering Research and Technology Medical Affairs and field teams to support effective clinical study execution.
Support study planning activation and site initiation activities including review of clinical investigational plans workflows training materials technical documentation and site support strategies.
Deliver education and training to physicians research staff internal teams and field personnel on device functionality therapy delivery programming procedural workflows and study-specific requirements.
Document field observations technical issues study execution challenges and customer feedback; communicate trends and recommendations to appropriate stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify study risks remove execution barriers and improve operational effectiveness across clinical research programs.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to clinical and field-based colleagues by sharing best practices workflow knowledge and study support expertise.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED and 10 years; OR Associate Degree and 8 years; OR Bachelors Degree and 6 years of clinical technical field service medical device healthcare procedural support or related experience.
Experience supporting device-based clinical technical procedural or customer-facing activities including physician education device programming troubleshooting procedural support or patient support.
Ability to work effectively in clinical environments while supporting multiple stakeholders and study priorities.
Ability to travel approximately 70% to 75% of the time including overnight travel by air and automobile to support clinical research sites and business needs across the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting clinical research studies investigational device studies feasibility studies pivotal trials or post-market clinical programs.
Experience with Neuromodulation and/or Pelvic Health therapies including Deep Brain Stimulation Spinal Cord Stimulation Targeted Drug Delivery Sacral Neuromodulation Tibial Neuromodulation or related therapy areas.
Experience providing procedural operating room interventional or implant support including device programming follow-up care and physician workflow support.
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice clinical trial conduct protocol compliance study documentation requirements data quality standards and regulated medical device environments.
Experience training mentoring coaching or providing technical leadership to clinical technical or field-based professionals.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
