Job Summary
Defining implementing and/or maintaining R&D strategy guidelines systems and services for VISHAY
Aligning and ensuring implementation of R&D budgets monitors R&D programs and allocates resources.
Planning and coordinating and/or implementing R&D projects and processes (i.e. technology research projects product development programs).
Leading identification and consolidation of R&D projects in line with technological trends and development plans.
Coordinating research development and pre-industrialization of products.
Representing VISHAYs R&D competence externally towards customers partners and other relevant stakeholders.

Drives agreed scientific or technological agenda and programs to confirm VISHAY technical leadership in the market.
Initiates and leads elaboration testing and verification of ground breaking concepts that path way for potentially disruptive products.
Needs to adopt improve and change existing ways approaches and methodologies to match unique requirements.
Builds and acts as recognized thought leader in a cross-functional network of experts and institutes.
Represents organizations development competence in a specific scientific or technical area and counsel accountable management respectively.
