Job Summary
Hazen and Sawyer is seekinga Water/Wastewater Project Engineer for ourRaleigh officeoffice. As part of our design and process teams you will work on water and wastewater projects including drinking water/wastewater/reuse treatment facility upgrades conveyance systems wellfields stormwater management water resources and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participation in the evaluation planning and design of water wastewater stormwater reuse and infrastructure projects
- Participation in a project team from the initial study and conceptual design stages through to the construction of major water related infrastructure projects
- Fieldwork and site visits from design through construction may be required
- Other responsibilities may include:
- Project management of a large project or several small projects
- Client development and management supported by our local offices
- Planning organizing and supervising staff of engineers on projects
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in environmental civil chemical or mechanical engineering
- PE license
- Strong interest in the water/wastewater industry
- Excellent communication skills self-motivation organization and attention to detail
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 5-12years of experiencein planning design or construction of water-related projects
- Experience related to preparing conceptual/feasibility studies development of construction drawings and specifications bidding assistance and support of office and field-related construction services
- Familiarity with engineering and construction management software
- Capable of supervising staff and managing small projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) in environmental civil chemical or mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in GIS CAD/BIM BioWin PowerBI and database
