Job Summary
Bring Your Own Hardware (BYOH) Data Center Operations
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an experienced Program Manager (IC4) to lead operational execution and technical readiness for Bring Your Own Hardware (BYOH) deployments across Oracles rapidly expanding global data center footprint.
This role serves as the operational owner responsible for ensuring customer- and partner-owned hardware is successfully integrated into Oracle data centers and strategic colocation environments. You will coordinate cross-functional teams spanning supply chain logistics deployment engineering networking facilities security capacity planning and cloud operations to ensure hardware arrives on time installs correctly passes validation and enters production without operational disruption.
This role requires exceptional technical judgment program management operational rigor and the ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the deployment lifecycle. Success is measured by delivering predictable scalable and repeatable hardware onboarding processes that enable OCIs continued infrastructure growth.
Responsibilities
BYOH Program Execution
Own end-to-end operational readiness for customer-owned and partner-owned hardware deployments into OCI data centers and colocation facilities.
Coordinate the complete lifecycle from forecasting and capacity planning through logistics receiving rack integration validation production readiness and operational handoff.
Develop repeatable deployment playbooks and standardized onboarding processes for BYOH programs.
Ensure all hardware deployments meet Oracle operational security compliance and engineering standards.
Drive successful execution across multiple concurrent global deployment programs.
Cross-Functional Program Leadership
Serve as the primary operational interface between Data Center Operations Supply Chain Capacity Planning Network Engineering Hardware Engineering Security Facilities and external partners.
Coordinate deployment schedules across global regions while balancing infrastructure capacity and operational priorities.
Lead technical readiness reviews and deployment go/no-go decisions.
Drive issue resolution across organizational boundaries without direct management authority.
Build strong relationships with strategic hardware vendors colocation providers and infrastructure partners.
Data Center Readiness
Validate rack capacity power availability cooling requirements network connectivity and physical infrastructure readiness prior to deployment.
Ensure compliance with rack density power consumption airflow and thermal design standards.
Coordinate installation sequencing to minimize operational disruption.
Verify hardware acceptance testing burn-in procedures and operational validation prior to production handoff.
Support deployments across Oracle-owned facilities colocation sites and strategic partner data centers.
Operational Excellence
Identify operational risks before they impact deployment schedules.
Develop metrics dashboards and reporting to monitor deployment health execution timelines and operational readiness.
Continuously improve deployment processes through automation standardization and lessons learned.
Build operational documentation runbooks and best practices supporting global scale.
Drive post-deployment reviews to improve future execution.
Hardware Lifecycle Management
Coordinate receiving inventory validation asset tracking installation upgrades repairs and decommissioning activities.
Partner with logistics teams to manage inbound shipments and hardware staging.
Support remote hands operations for hardware replacement firmware updates diagnostics and break/fix activities.
Ensure accurate hardware inventory and configuration management throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Infrastructure Risk Management
Identify deployment risks related to capacity supply chain constraints facility readiness power availability networking and hardware compatibility.
Develop mitigation plans for schedule risks hardware shortages infrastructure dependencies and operational bottlenecks.
Support business continuity planning and deployment contingency strategies.
Coordinate rapid response during deployment incidents and production-impacting events.
Required Qualifications
Experience
8 years of experience in data center operations infrastructure deployment hardware engineering cloud infrastructure technical program management or supply chain operations.
Experience managing complex hardware deployments across enterprise or hyperscale environments.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional technical initiatives without direct management responsibility.
Experience coordinating multiple engineering organizations through large infrastructure deployment programs.
Experience supporting global data center operations or colocation environments.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of enterprise server hardware storage systems networking rack integration and data center infrastructure.
Knowledge of power distribution cooling systems rack density planning and physical infrastructure constraints.
Experience with asset lifecycle management deployment scheduling and operational readiness planning.
Familiarity with hardware validation firmware management and deployment quality assurance.
Experience using data analytics and dashboards to monitor operational performance.
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure operations and distributed systems.
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other hyperscale cloud providers is preferred.

Experience with hyperscale cloud infrastructure deployments.
Experience managing hardware deployments in colocation environments such as Equinix Digital Realty or similar providers.
Familiarity with BYOH operational models and third-party infrastructure partnerships.
Experience supporting GPU clusters AI infrastructure or high-density compute environments.
Knowledge of infrastructure compliance physical security and operational governance.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma or operational excellence methodologies.
Experience building deployment automation and operational dashboards.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $102300 to $209500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
