The Opportunity

Resilience Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and clinically skilled Primary Therapist to join their Healing Heroes Program in Walpole MA. This role is an ideal fit for a licensed clinician with a genuine understanding of military culture and a passion for supporting veterans active-duty service members and first responders. The Primary Therapist will provide individual and group therapy within a structured treatment environment delivering trauma-informed evidence-based care to a population with complex and meaningful needs.

What Youll Do

  • Provide individual and group therapy to veterans active-duty military personnel first responders and related populations within a structured treatment setting
  • Apply evidence-based treatment modalities and trauma-informed approaches in every clinical encounter
  • Draw on a strong understanding of military culture and the unique mental health challenges faced by service members and veterans
  • Support clients navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with the broader interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care

Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology or a related behavioral health field
  • Active unrestricted clinical license in the state of practice (LCSW LICSW LMHC LPC or LMFT) or license-eligible status
  • Demonstrated experience working with veterans active-duty military personnel first responders or similar populations
  • Strong understanding of military culture and the unique mental health challenges faced by service members and veterans
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy in a structured treatment setting
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and trauma-informed care
  • Excellent clinical documentation communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (in-office)
  • Compensation: $60000 - $70000 annually
