Position Summary: The Primary Therapist will provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals families and groups. This role involves delivering therapy conducting assessments and developing treatment plans in a compassionate professional and effective manner. The Primary Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Utilize evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.
- Therapeutic Services:
- Provide individual group and family therapy sessions.
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and stabilization as required.
- Case Management:
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers including psychiatrists nurses and social workers.
- Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation.
- Advocate for patient needs and assist with accessing community resources and support services.
- Collaboration and Consultation:
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
- Provide consultation and training to other staff members as needed.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with best practices in the field.
- Compliance and Ethical Practice:
- Adhere to all legal ethical and professional standards including HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies procedures and accreditation standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- Education and Licensure:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology Counseling Social Work or a related field.
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- Experience providing therapy in individual group and family settings.
- Experience with a diverse client population including individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with a standard workweek. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
- Work is performed in a clinical office setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to use standard office equipment including a computer.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
Benefits:

Compensation: $55000.00 - $65000.00 per year
