Primary Therapist

As a Primary Therapist youll be at the heart of our clinical team conducting assessments crafting personalized treatment plans and facilitating engaging individual family and group therapies.

Hours for this role are Monday - Friday days

Essential Duties:

• Family Communication Champion: Be the go-to clinical contact for families ensuring proactive and open communication that fosters trust and collaboration.

• Therapy Facilitator Extraordinaire: Lead dynamic individual family and group therapy sessions using Newport Healthcares innovative clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy techniques.

• Crisis Management Specialist: Conduct risk or crisis assessments and provide timely interventions and management as needed ensuring our clients feel supported and safe.

• Team Player: Join weekly treatment team meetings staff meetings and clinical supervision sessions to share insights and collaborate with your colleagues.

• Masters Degree in counseling psychology social work or related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required.
• MN License in Marriage Family Therapy Counseling Social Work or Clinical Psychologist.
• Non-licensed candidates will be considered for a non-exempt role and require aMasters degree in Social Work Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related therapeutic field is required. If your degree is in a closely related field and you are pursuing an LPCC you must demonstrate that your education meets the coursework requirements of the license either through your own comparison or an unofficial review with the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy.
• Experience with individual family and/or group therapy with young adults/adolescents
• Experience with mental health substance abuse eating disorders or trauma-informed treatment preferred.

Compensation for a licensed therapist ranges from $77000 - $100000 depending on education licensure and experience. Non-licensed therapist compensation ranges from $37-$44 an hour.
