Medical Assistant MACMA Mercy Clinic Bella Vista

Under the direction of the primary care operations team the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe timely effective efficient equitable patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients providers and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission values and Mercy Service Standards.

• Medical Assistant:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

  • Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferably in a physicians office.

• Certified Medical Assistant:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA CCMA CMA EMT and/or Paramedic are also accepted). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires the ability to push pull and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.

Position requires the ability to grip reach bend kneel twist and squat to perform duties.
