Salary:

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75000 - $82000 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidates experience qualifications and/or skillset.  

Summary

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing analyzing and maintaining pricing strategies that support profitable growth and market competitiveness. This role partners closely with Sales Finance Product Management and Operations to evaluate pricing performance provide actionable insights and ensure pricing consistency across products customers and channels. The Pricing Analyst leverages data analytics to identify opportunities to improve margins optimize pricing programs and support business decision-making.

Essential Functions

• Analyze pricing customer product and market data to identify opportunities to improve revenue margins and profitability.
• Develop pricing recommendations and support the execution of pricing strategies across products customer segments and channels.
• Monitor pricing performance customer profitability and margin trends; provide regular reporting and insights to leadership.
• Evaluate pricing requests discounts rebates and exceptions to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Maintain pricing models tools and databases to support accurate and consistent pricing decisions.
• Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to provide pricing guidance and support during customer negotiations.
• Conduct competitive pricing and market analyses to assess market positioning and identify growth opportunities.
• Support annual price increase initiatives including analysis modeling implementation and performance tracking.
• Develop dashboards and reports that communicate key pricing metrics and business trends.
• Collaborate with Finance on forecasting profitability analysis and financial planning activities.
• Ensure pricing compliance with established policies procedures and commercial agreements.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support pricing automation initiatives.

Qualifications :

Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Business Economics Accounting Mathematics Statistics or a related field required.

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in pricing financial analysis sales analytics business analysis or related commercial functions.

• Experience working with large datasets and business intelligence tools.
• Manufacturing industrial distribution or B2B experience preferred.
• Working experience of PowerBI

• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint
• Advanced CRM skills Microsoft D365 preferred
• Experience with ERP or sales management software is an advantage
• Ability to create and deliver clear internal presentations

Note: This is an office-based position and individuals are expected to be in the office 5 days per week.
