This role emphasizes preventive measures to minimize downtime extend the life of assets and maintain an exceptional guest experience. Experience with Hyatts BOB platform is preferred but not Responsibilities:Perform routine preventive maintenance on all hotel systems including HVAC plumbing electrical refrigeration elevators kitchen equipment and guest room troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical and plumbing issues and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures and emergency with the Engineering team to plan and execute capital improvement promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests ensuring minimal disruption to hotel compliance with safety regulations building codes and environmental inventory of tools parts and supplies necessary for preventive and corrective maintenance guidance and training to junior engineering staff as maintenance management systems such as Hyatt BOB if available to track work orders and generate :Proven experience as a maintenance engineer preferably in a hotel or hospitality knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing refrigeration and mechanical with maintenance management software preferred (Hyatt BOB platform a plus).Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and troubleshooting and problem-solving organizational skills and attention to communication and interpersonal to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays as certifications or technical training in mechanical electrical or facilities maintenance Requirements:Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and to work in confined spaces at heights and in varying dexterity and stamina for extended periods of physical :Competitive salaryHealth and dental insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and development within the hotelAt Meyer Jabara Hotels we strive to build more than just a strong team we build a meaningful culture.
