We are seeking a skilled and motivated Preventive Maintenance Assistant Technician to support preventive maintenance activities equipment repairs and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude excellent organizational skills and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Assist in organizing preventive maintenance (PM) activities scheduling work and managing overtime as a backup to the Group Leader.

Document all preventive maintenance activities accurately and maintain detailed maintenance records.

Perform preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on vacuum systems process gas systems gas cabinets and related equipment.

Conduct leak checks and safely diagnose equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.

Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment while adhering to established safety and quality standards.

Follow approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all safety protocols.

Promote a safe work environment by placing health safety and quality as top priorities.

Participate in required training programs to improve technical skills and individual performance.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain effective communication with team members.

Work rotating shifts (1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th shifts) including staggered weekend schedules and overtime as required.

Strong communication teamwork and organizational skills.

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.

Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Experience using power tools and light machining equipment.

Ability to follow safety guidelines and established work procedures.

Self-motivated positive and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Willingness to learn new equipment and maintenance processes.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance or mechanical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
