Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Preventive Maintenance Assistant Technician to support preventive maintenance activities equipment repairs and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude excellent organizational skills and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in organizing preventive maintenance (PM) activities scheduling work and managing overtime as a backup to the Group Leader.

  • Document all preventive maintenance activities accurately and maintain detailed maintenance records.

  • Perform preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on vacuum systems process gas systems gas cabinets and related equipment.

  • Conduct leak checks and safely diagnose equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.

  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment while adhering to established safety and quality standards.

  • Follow approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all safety protocols.

  • Promote a safe work environment by placing health safety and quality as top priorities.

  • Participate in required training programs to improve technical skills and individual performance.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain effective communication with team members.

  • Work rotating shifts (1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th shifts) including staggered weekend schedules and overtime as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong communication teamwork and organizational skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.

  • Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience using power tools and light machining equipment.

  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and established work procedures.

  • Self-motivated positive and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Willingness to learn new equipment and maintenance processes.

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance or mechanical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
