The Imaging Operator is responsible for the setup and operation of imaging equipment to ensure accurate high-quality digital imaging in accordance with job specifications and customer work at MCC:Competitive compensationGenerous benefits package including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k) Paid Holidays: New Years Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day plus two floating HolidaysResponsibilities:Continuously monitor image quality and accuracy; remove defective material and re-image per ruler safety knife and other tools during imaging and finishing tasks as and palletize imaged rolls or materials without causing basic imaging and quality-related and enter production data accurately in the Radius with make-ready procedures: prepare imaging equipment substrates and materials per Job Ticket and Product in-process quality checks (image clarity alignment data accuracy and overall quality).Support efficient changeovers including equipment cleaning and set-up imaging equipment plates and workstations; perform routine lubrication as a clean safe work area through daily housekeeping and 6S all plant and corporate safety rules; report concerns immediately to in process improvement initiatives and special as backup support during operator absences breaks or downtime (may operate equipment under supervision).Communicate job status mechanical/material issues and critical updates to team and Lean Manufacturing principles and sustain 6S attendance production and quality standards; comply with all MCC policies and :High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrint shop or imaging experience helpful but not requiredAbility to communicate and interact well with others (verbally and written form); seen as a team playerAbility to read and understand a job ticketAbility to read a ruler and understand measurements (able to pass a ruler test)Ability correctable to 20/20 (able to pass an eye test)Ability to differentiate colors (able to pass a color test)Ability to input data in the computerAbility to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency for on-time completion of assigned activitiesSelf-motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructionsAbility to stand and move around press/imaging area for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 and solution-focusedAbility to prioritize multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentThe physical demands require standing using hands to finger feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and position requires frequent walking.
