Location: The Learning Experience - Ledgewood NJ
Pay: $18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday
- Lead a classroom of 2-year-old children in a safe nurturing learning environment
- Implement engaging age-appropriate learning activities using the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Support language development social-emotional growth and early problem-solving skills
- Guide daily classroom routines including toileting readiness meals transitions and rest time
- Foster positive relationships with children families and fellow educators
- Maintain an organized engaging and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families regarding milestones progress and daily activities
- Partner with assistant teachers to ensure classroom consistency and success
- Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing and safety requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior childcare daycare preschool or toddler classroom experience required
- CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting young childrens growth and development
- Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements
