- Create a welcoming engaging and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and learning experiences using The Learning Experiences L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
- Support childrens social emotional cognitive language and physical development.
- Foster a safe nurturing environment where children feel valued supported and encouraged to learn.
- Build positive relationships with children families and fellow educators.
- Communicate regularly with families about childrens progress and daily experiences.
- Collaborate with center leadership and team members to provide a high-quality educational experience.
- Maintain a clean organized classroom and ensure compliance with all health safety and licensing requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience required.
- Strong communication teamwork and organizational skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and helping children reach developmental milestones.
- Ability to meet all applicable state licensing requirements.
