Curiosity Academy is growing and seeking passionate Early Childhood Teachers to join our team! 

We are currently hiring dedicated teachers for: 

• Young Toddler Classroom (1-Year-Old Classroom)
• Preschool Classroom (3-Year-Old Classroom)

Position Overview:

As an Early Childhood Teacher you will create a warm welcoming classroom environment that supports childrens cognitive social-emotional physical and language development. You will work collaboratively with fellow teachers staff and families to ensure each child receives individualized care and support during these important early years.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Create and facilitate engaging developmentally appropriate learning experiences

• Support childrens daily routines including free play guided activities diapering/toileting snacks/meals and rest time

• Foster a safe nurturing and inclusive classroom

• Encourage social-emotional development independence problem-solving and positive peer interactions

• Observe assess and document developmental progress and milestones

• Maintain open professional communication with families regarding childrens growth and experiences

• Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to create a consistent high-quality learning environment

• Maintain classroom organization cleanliness and safety standards

• Assist in other classrooms and school activities as needed

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma required.

• CDA Associates or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education (2 years preferred) 

• Strong understanding of early child development and engaging play-based learning practices

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Self-motivated with strong sense of independence responsibility and initiative

• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

• Conflict-resolution and creative problem-solving abilities

• Basic computer proficiency

• CPR and First Aid Certification (training provided if not current)

• Fire and Water Safety Certification (training provided)

• Ability to obtain required clearances: Background Check FBI Fingerprinting Child Abuse Clearances and Mandated Reporter Training
