Preschool Special Education Instructional Assistant, part time

Requirements:

• Experience working in Early Childhood/Preschool
• Understanding of child development and developmental milestones
• Appropriate certification required

Description:

• Support lead classroom teacher in integrated preschool classroom with routines and procedures
• Provide student support and supervision throughout preschool day
• Provide small group and individual support with guidance from lead teacher
• Assist with activities of daily living including toileting and changing diapers
• Collect/record data
• Assist with material preparation
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the preschool director

Burlington Early Childhood Center

Hours:

Monday-Friday 7:40am - 11:40am

Compensation:

In accordance with the Instructional Assistants contract
