Schedule: Full-Time - 8:30AM - 5:30PM
At The Learning Experience Franklin Lakes our Lead Teachers are ambassadors of happiness who create meaningful learning experiences for children every day. We are looking for passionate early childhood educators who enjoy working with young children and creating a safe engaging classroom environment where learning and play go hand in hand.
- Lead classroom activities and daily routines for preschool-aged children
- Create a safe nurturing and engaging learning environment
- Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum in a fun and age-appropriate way
- Support childrens social emotional physical and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean organized and welcoming classroom
- Strong classroom management
- Communicate with families regarding daily activities and developmental progress
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years experience with preschool aged children
- CDA ECE coursework or Early Childhood Education degree preferred
- Passion for working with young children
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Must meet all New Jersey state licensing requirements for childcare staff
