Job Summary
Anderson County Schools Preschool is looking for a Preschool Classroom Support that is flexible and can work at multiple locations throughout the school district.
Classroom supportsaid the classroom teacher in the instruction and care of preschool children ages 3-5 years while guiding them in activities to promote social interaction physical movement and intellectual growth.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age andhave at aminimum a high school diploma or equivalent for hire; must complete a Child Development Associate credential or equivalent within 2 years of hire
Classroom experience preferred.
Spanish speaking is desired not required.
Hours are M-F 7:30 AM-3 PM.
Pay is based on the ACS Educational Assistants pay scale with applicable supplements.
Starting pay may be increased for any verified experience and if the candidate holds an advanced credential such as an associate or bachelors degree.
