Preschool Assistant teacher

St. John Neumann Catholic Preschool seeks a part-time Assistant Teacher for our half day Monday-Friday Pre-k class. Applicant must love sharing their Catholic faith with students. Applicant must love working with young children and have several years of experiencedoing so. Assistant teachers must have a minimum of a High School Diploma - Early Childhood Education college coursework is preferred. Responsibilities include:

- Supporting Lead teacher in implementing creative activities based on curriculum;

- Working with young children to promote social-emotional development as well as working on learning objectives;

- Maintaining a neat clean and safe classroom enviroment;

- Attending trainings meetings and other Preschool events.

Part time hours are Monday - Friday 9 am to 12:30 pm.

This is an hourly position with starting pay of $15 to $16 an hour. We provide:
