Prefab Welder - $20-$40/hr - DOE
We are seeking a skilled Prefab Welder to join our team. This role focuses on welding and assembling pre-engineered components for mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems in a controlled shop environment. The ideal candidate has experience in structural or pipe welding. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Columbus Area.

Responsibilities
Perform welding on prefabricated assemblies including pipe supports racks and structural components
Interpret shop drawings blueprints and weld symbols
Cut fit and assemble metal components prior to welding
Use MIG TIG and/or Stick welding processes depending on project requirements
Inspect welds for quality strength and compliance with specifications
Operate fabrication tools such as grinders saws and cutting torches
Maintain proper material identification and labeling for job site delivery
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
AWS Certification Preferred
1 years of welding experience (fabrication or construction preferred)
Proficiency in at least one welding process (MIG TIG or Stick)
Experience with pipe welding or MEP systems
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Compensation:
Competitive starting pay $20 - $40/hr or depending on experience
