(SCI) is recruiting a Preconstruction Manager to join their team in Tukwila Washington.This is a pivotal newly created role at the front end of some of Sabeys most complex and high-impact builds added to support the companys rapidly growing pipeline of mission-critical construction projects.

As Preconstruction Manager you will lead the critical planning design coordination and procurement phases that set the foundation for successful project delivery. From early concept through GMP development and handoff to construction teams your work ensures projects are well-defined strategicallyprocured and aligned with Sabeyshigh standards.

Your Contribution Will Likely Include:

• Partnering with the Director of Engineering & Preconstruction to refine and implement preconstruction processes and standards

• Leading coordination of the design process alongside internal teams and external partners ensuring alignment with Sabey design phases

• Managing Procore throughout preconstruction including document control RFIs submittals and correspondence

• Reviewing design documents at each phase for completeness constructability and alignment with owner requirements and Sabey standards

• Identifying and mitigating risks early including scope gaps and design conflicts

• Facilitating owner design reviews andmaintainingclear organized documentation

• Managing RFP processes for design services equipment and trade partners including leveling bids and supporting award recommendations

• Developing andmaintainingprocurement logs and tracking key milestones

• Building conceptual and detailed project budgets from early design through GMP

• Monitoring design schedules and ensuringtimelydelivery of milestones and deliverables

• Coordinating early trade partner engagement to inform design and budgeting decisions

• Preparing contract requests and supporting execution in partnership with internal teams

Experience You Will Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related) or arelated field or equivalent industry experience.

• Experience in construction management with a preference for estimating procurement or preconstruction exposure

• Strong understanding of building systems including structural HVAC electrical plumbing and fire protection

• Proficiencywith Procore Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office tools

• Familiarity with AI tools and technologies applied to scheduling estimating or document management

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while coordinating across diverse stakeholder groups

• Strong communicationskills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organization

• Sharp problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities

• High attention to detail in reviewing and managing complex project documentation

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to track multiple workflows simultaneously

• A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth

Theanticipatedannual base salary range for this position is $128283 - $192425.
