Job Summary
Manpower is seeking precast concrete technicians in Minden LA.
The core hours average 54 per week between 6am-4:30pm M-F. There is overtime every other Saturday from 6am-2:30pm.
The pay range for this position is $16.50-$18.15/hour based on experience.
What youll do:
The precast concrete assembly technician is responsible for assembling casting finishing and installing precast concrete panels roofs and floor components used in modular buildings. This role involves working with concrete molds precast forms and structural components using hand tools and equipment while following blueprints specifications and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints tape measures and written work instructions
Experience using hand tools power tools and precision measuring devices
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Position Criteria
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending stooping crouching climbing pushing and pulling with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift carry and position materials weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work from elevated surfaces and in an industrial concrete manufacturing environment
Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including eye wear hearing protection gloves and steel toed boots
