Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the used vehicle department to maximize sales gross profit and inventory turn.
• Source quality pre-owned inventory through trade-ins auctions and direct purchases.
• Oversee vehicle appraisals pricing strategies and inventory management to maintain a competitive and profitable selection.
• Manage the reconditioning process to ensure vehicles are frontline-ready in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Monitor inventory aging and implement strategies to improve inventory turn and profitability.
• Support the sales team by desking deals assisting with negotiations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Train coach and motivate the used vehicle sales team to achieve sales and performance goals.
• Collaborate with the Finance Service and Sales departments to drive operational efficiency and dealership success.
• Ensure all used inventory is accurately merchandised photographed and marketed across all platforms.

Qualifications

• 2 years of automotive sales experience.
• Excellent leadership coaching and team development skills.
• Ability to analyze reports and make data-driven business decisions.
• Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) CRM and inventory management software preferred.
• Strong communication negotiation and customer service skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
